HIV infection is still an epidemic in the
United States but there is a sense of complacency that now
surrounds it. Interim editor-in-chief, Shawn Kennedy interviews Lyn
Stevens, president, and Adele Webb, executive director and CEO of
the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care, about their article, “Every
Nurse is an HIV Nurse” in the March 2010 issue, and why the public
– and nurses – cannot afford to be complacent about HIV
infection.
